Prof. Panos M. Pardalos, University of Florida, USA

BIO: Ph.D., University of Minnesota, 1985 Panos M. Pardalos serves as professor emeritus of industrial and systems engineering at the University of Florida. Additionally, he is the Paul and Heidi Brown Preeminent Professor of industrial and systems engineering. He is also an affiliated faculty member of the computer and information science Department, the Hellenic Studies Center, and the biomedical engineering program. He is also the director of the Center for Applied Optimization. Pardalos is a world leading expert in global and combinatorial optimization. His recent research interests include network design problems, optimization in telecommunications, e-commerce, data mining, biomedical applications, and massive computing.

Prof. Jie Li, IEEE Fellow, Foreign Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan

Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China

BIO: Dr. Jie Li is an Endowed Chair Professor in Computer Science and Engineering, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Director of Intelligent Big Data System (iBDSys) Lab., Director of SJTU Blockchain Research Centre, Adjunct Professor of Zhiyuan College with Zhiyuan Honors Program and SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. He serves as the Chief Scientist, Shanghai Key Lab. of Trusted Data Circulation and Governance and Web3. He is an IEEE Fellow, AAIA Fellow, and a Foreign Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan (EAJ). He is on the advisory board of Shanghai Frontiers Science Center for Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, NYU Shanghai - New York University. He was a full Professor in Department of Computer Science, University of Tsukuba, Japan. He was a visiting Professor in Yale University, USA, Inria Sophia Antipolis and Inria Grenoble-Rhone-Aples, France, during the sabbatical year in September 2014 through August 2015. He has been a visiting Professor/Adjunct Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), The Hong Kong Polytechnical University (PolyU), City University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, and University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). His current research interests are in Big Data, AI, Blockchain, network systems and security, and smart city. His research has been continuously supported by many national and industrial research grants.
He is a Fellow of IEEE, a senior member of ACM, and a member of CCF and IPSJ. He is the founding chair of the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on Big Data (TCBD) and the co-chair of IEEE Big Data Community.
He has served as an editor and a guest editor for many international journals such as IEEE TBD, IEEE JSAC, IEEE IoTJ, IEEE TVT, IEEE TCC, IEEE TNSE, and IEEE Network, etc. He had served as a secretary for Study Group on System Evaluation of IPSJ and on Steering Committees of the SIG of System EVAluation (EVA) of IPSJ, the SIG of DataBase System (DBS) of IPSJ, and the SIG of MoBiLe computing and ubiquitous communications of IPSJ. He has also served on the program committees for several international professional conferences.

Prof. Shengping Zhang, Harbin Institute of Technology, China

BIO: Professor in the school of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. My research interests include Deep learning and its applications in computer vision. In particular, I am currently focusing on object classification, visual tracking and action recognition, etc. My research works were published in top-tier journals such as PNAS, JMLR, IEEE T-PAMI, IEEE T-NNLS, IEEE T-IP, IEEE T-KDE, IEEE T-CSVT, IEEE T-ITS and conferences such as IJCAI, AAAI, CVPR, ECCV.

BIO: Jian Yao, born in December 1975, is from Lianyuan City, Hunan Province, China. Yao is a professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Distinguished Professor of "Chutian Scholar" Program of Hubei Province, Discipline Development Leader of the School of Remote Sensing Information Engineering of Wuhan University, a candidate of the National Major Talent Project A-type Youth Project, a member of the Strategic Talent Training Program of Changsha, a high-end talent of the 3551 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program of Wuhan, a student of the Class 2019 of Baidu Alpha College, a leader of the Artificial Intelligence College of Guangdong Open University, director of the Artificial Intelligence Application Innovation Center of Guangdong Open University, dean of Research Institute of Desauto Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Professor of Xiamen University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, distinguished researcher of Songhua River Thousand People Industry Research Institute, director of Wuhan University Computer Vision and Remote Sensing Lab (WHU-CVRS Lab), director of 3D Big Data Artificial Intelligence Innovation Research Center of Wuhan University, incumbent Member of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, member of the Computer Vision Professional Committee of the Chinese Computer Society (CCF), member of the Imaging Detection and Perception Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, member of the Machine Vision Specialty Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, member of 3D Vision Specialist Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, member of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, and director of the New Overseas Chinese Professionals Association of Hubei Province and Wuhan City. In April 2012, he was introduced to the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering of Wuhan University as a discipline development leader and has been a faculty member since then. He was invited as a specially-appointed professor of “Hubei Scholar” Program of Hubei in 2013. He has participated in many large-scale projects such as the EU's sixth and seventh framework plans, as well as cooperation projects with the International Atomic Energy Agency. In recent years, he has published over 130 papers on international journals including Pattern Recognition, Computer Vision & Image Understanding, International Journal of Robotics Research, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (TGRS) and CVPR, applied for over 70 IPs and patents, with 30 authorized by the Chinese government. He has long been a reviewer of top journals and conference proceedings. After joining Wuhan University, Prof. Yao has established the WHU-CVRS Lab, which now consists of four advisors, one postdoctoral fellows, 30 PhDs and master students. Prof. Yao has chaired a series of research projects at national and provincial levels, including national key research programs, programs of the 973 Project, and the National Natural Science Fund. Meanwhile, in collaboration with well-known enterprises like Tencent, Huawei and Alibaba, he has initiated a range of joint research programs and talent training projects.

Prof. Qiang Zhang, Dalian University of Technology, China

BIO: 张强,大连理工大学计算机科学与技术学院院长,教授,博士生导师。教育部长江学者 特聘教授,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,教育部“长江学者和创新团队发展计划”带头人,国家百千万人才工程人选,国务 院特殊津贴获得者,全国优秀科技工作者,第13、14届国家自然科学基金委员会信息学部评审组专家。首批辽宁杰出科技工作者,首批辽宁特聘教授,辽宁省攀登学者。主要研究方向包括生物计算理论及其应用、计算机辅助设计与动画、机器人交互技术等。在国内外重要期刊上发表SCI论文100余篇,作为负责人完成包括1项教育部创新团队支持计划项目、5项国家自然科学基金、6项军口863项目、1项863项目等在内的多项项目。
